Newspaper: Recently, the State Grid Corporation of China held a video conference on the centralized linkage of the comprehensive construction of new energy vehicle charging facilities in 2020, announcing that it plans to arrange an investment of 2.7 billion yuan for the construction of charging piles this year, adding 78000 new charging piles, about 10 times the scale of last year. The project is distributed in 24 provinces (cities) such as Beijing and Tianjin, covering public, special purpose and port electricity and other types. Among them, there are 53000 charging piles in residential areas, 18000 public charging piles, 7000 special charging piles and 150 shore power facilities.
In a special period affected by the outbreak of new crown pneumonia, this news is expected to boost consumer confidence in new energy vehicles, for the plight of new energy vehicles is a good thing. Although my country has built the world's largest smart car networking platform, with a total of 457000 charging piles connected, covering more than 85% of the country's public charging piles, and has built a "ten vertical, ten horizontal and two ring" expressway fast charging network, forming a network with independent Intellectual property rights of China's charging and exchanging standard system. However, the ratio of the number of new energy vehicles to the number of charging piles in my country is about 3:1, which means that three vehicles share one charging pile, highlighting the dilemma faced by charging piles.
In recent years, State Grid Co., Ltd. has actively served the development of new energy vehicles, focusing on the construction of charging infrastructure on the one hand and grid-connected power supply services on the other, with a total investment of 25.1 billion billion yuan, laying a good foundation for the rapid development of China's new energy vehicle industry. At present, the State Grid Corporation of China has built a total of 11600 charging and exchanging power stations and 95800 charging piles, delivering 212000 households to various charging facilities with a power receiving capacity of 3.378 million kVA. The centralized linkage construction will focus on the construction of 126 demonstration projects in 18 provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government) including Beijing and Tianjin, and at the same time provide labor-saving, time-saving and money-saving "three provinces" services for the construction of various charging piles.
In the future, the national "new infrastructure" policy will bring about accelerated investment in the charging pile sector, thus significantly increasing the demand for charging equipment, the entire charging pile industry will benefit from this, will bring new opportunities to enterprises with leading technology and deep operational accumulation. There are also 5G, big data center, industrial Internet, artificial intelligence and other sectors in the "new infrastructure". These intelligent and information technologies are also gradually integrating with charging piles, intelligent transportation and new energy vehicles, creating an intelligent network for charging and changing electricity, and cloud platform services to enhance user experience, all of which are to solve charging pain points, improve the utilization rate of charging piles, and achieve effective allocation of resources.
As one of the seven major areas of new infrastructure, new energy vehicle charging piles have the characteristics of large investment and long chain. They are an important guarantee for the development of the new energy vehicle industry and an important part of the emerging digital economy such as smart transportation and smart energy. Electric motor vehicles are ushering in a new period of gradual improvement and rapid development. We should revitalize the existing charging piles, enhance the utilization value, and speed up the construction of a number of charging pile projects, further promote the construction of national charging infrastructure and business model exploration, and create a good environment for the promotion of new energy vehicles.
